Brodhead - Rosemary A. Purdy, age 41, of Brodhead, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 17, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 28, 1971 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Robert and Mary (Luttig) Riley. She married Brian L. Purdy on June 21, 1997 in Janesville, WI.
Rosemary graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1989 and also attended Blackhawk Technical College. She had worked at Freeman Alignment of Janesville and Data Dimensions, also of Janesville. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, and home schooling her son.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Brian; a son, Cordell Lee; mother, Mary (Ray) Tracey, South Beloit, IL; father, Bob (Shirley) Riley, Beloit, WI; two brothers, Jim (Anna) Riley, Milton, WI, Nicholas (Andrea) Riley, Madison, WI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 21, 2013, at the Living Word Church, Brodhead with Rev. Rob Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the D.L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, BRODHEAD. A memorial fund will be established.

I am so sorry. As other wrote, words can't express how I feel. She was an amazing mother, friend, wife and the list goes on. Her smile always made me smile. I will always remember her at our volleyball tournaments offering water and snacks to us. She was a beautiful lady. You and your family are in my prayers.
