Obituary Hanover – Dale Eugene Maynard, age 80 passed away at Agrace Hospice on January 8, 2021. Dale was born in Illinois, the son of Harold and Myrna Maynard. He attended schools around Hampshire and earned a GED. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 139 for 25 years and he also was the owner and operator of D&M Diesel for many years. He married Elaine Woodman in 1997. He enjoyed family and friends, tinkering on engines, gardening along with many other things. He is survived by his wife Elaine; his children, Theresa (Michael) Plank, James (Sharon) Maynard, Shawn (Krista) Maynard, Thomas (Jamie) Maynard; stepsons, Jeffery Buggs and Cory (Lisa) Buggs; his grandchildren, Robert, Nicholas, Cody, Matthew Sebastian, Nolan, Zachariah, Evelyn, Aaliyah, Calvin, Caiden and great grandson Grayson; his siblings, Jerry (Jeanene) Maynard, Jean Johnson, Joan (Roger) Mack, Lavonne (William) Vils, Joseph (Andre) Maynard and all their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, a granddaughter, Lindsey; a nephew, Scott Maynard and several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
