Kathleen (Hegi) Anderson

June 24, 1943 - January 13, 2010

Brodhead - Kathleen �Bootsie� Anderson, age 66, of Brodhead, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, Janesville. She was born on June 4, 1943 in Spring Valley Township, Rock County, the daughter of Ernest and Anna (Grossenbacher) Hegi. She married Delmar Anderson on February 8, 1964 in Brodhead. He passed away on August 4, 1999. Kathy graduated from Brodhead High School in 1962 and had farmed most of her life in Spring Valley Township, Rock County. She enjoyed playing cards, bluegrass and country music, horses, and her annual summer pig roast for family and friends. She is survived by her children, Dane Anderson, Thomas Anderson, Mary (Eric) Paul, all of Janesville, Laura Nelson, Minnesota, Lisa (Frank Lontz) Anderson, Eau Claire, WI, a special friend, Greg Griffin, three sisters, Emma Berndt, Marie Hanson, both of Monroe, Frances (Joe) Williams, Brodhead, thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Scott, a sister, Evelyn Figi, and three brothers, Ernest, Leonard, and Walter Hegi. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, January 16, 2010, at the D.L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, BRODHEAD, WI, with Mr. Lucas Robl presiding. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., Saturday until time of services at the funeral home.�
