Myrlah M. Wiley, 92, of Davis, Il. passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014, at Villas Senior Care in Sherman, Il. She was born on February 11, 1922 in Spring Grove, WI to Walter and Lillian Taylor. She married Paul Wiley on September 4, 1942 in Rockford, Il. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1991. Myrlah was a resident of Davis, IL for approximately twenty years. Prior to that she lived in Nora, IL where she and Paul were owners of the Stagecoach Inn. She and Paul had raised their family in Pecatonica, IL. Myrlah loved to play cards with her friends in Davis. She enjoyed the annual cousin�s luncheon. Her favorite dog was Ralph and her favorite cat was Arnie. Survivors include two sons, Paul (Cindy) Wiley of Springfield, IL and Bill (Sandy) Wiley of Janesville, WI; a daughter, Karen (Bob) Hansen of Chatham, Il; son-in-law Bob Voltz of Winnebago, Il; five grandchildren; Troy (Kay) Meyer of Janesville, WI, Gwynne (Jim) Chandler of Boise, ID, Teresa (Todd) Bartolomucci of Springfield, IL, Jeff (Michelle) Hansen of Edwardsville, IL, Arick Hansen of Chatham, IL; eight great-grandchildren, three great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven siblings, daughter Kathie Voltz and grandson Jason Wiley. Myrlah�s family will greet family and friends at the D.L. Newcomer Funeral Home in Brodhead, WI on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 10 a.m. until noon with interment to follow at Stateline Cemetery Davis, IL.
