Dan and Kari Newcomer Funeral Director
Daniel attained his license from the Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science, Milwaukee in 1967. While attending mortuary school, Daniel was associated with the Bruskiewitz Funeral Home in Milwaukee. He served as a licensed director for three years at the Frautschi Funeral Home, currently Cress Funeral Home, Madison. He returned to Brodhead in 1971 to join his father’s business. Dan purchased the business from his father in 1972 and continued operating the business from his residence, 602 10th St., Brodhead. Danny retired and sold the business in 2019 to Jarod and Tania Williams, but still assists when needed.

Brockton Williams Apprentice Funeral Director
Brock graduated from MATC Milwaukee mortuary science program and has passed his national board, exams and plans on being fully licensed after his one year apprenticeship for the State of WI. Brock formerly attended Blackhawk Tech in Janesville to finish up his required general curriculum before attending mortuary science school. He also attended Winona State in Minnesota as a computer science major before changing fields to pursue a career in the funeral service.
Brock enjoys driving his restored 1984 "Jake Ryan" Sixteen candles porsche, spending time with his family, but especially loving up and spending time with his dog, Louie. Louie is a 4 year mixed terrior dog he adopted from a kill shelter in Alabama. -
Tad Harnack Funeral Director
Tad was raised in Brodhead and he and his wife McKenna are working on moving back to Brodhead. His great grandfather was Dwight Newcomer, and he is a great nephew of Daniel Newcomer. His grandfather Tom Newcomer was a funeral director and owner of his own establishment in Orfordville for around 60 years. Tad is a 4th generation funeral director and is excited to be back home. Tad knew since a young age that it was his dream to be a funeral director and be able to help families in a time of need. Tad went to UW-Stout to get his general study credits. He then started his career by serving his apprenticeship in Menomonie with Rhiel Funeral Homes. After completing his apprenticeship, Tad attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science, where he graduated from. After college Tad worked for Gunderson Funeral Homes in Madison for over 4 years. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his wife. If Tad is not at work, you can bet that he is somewhere outside embracing all that nature has to offer.

Beverly Curtis Funeral Service Attendant
Beverly has lived in the Brodhead community for over 44 years with her husband Clyde. Beverly formerly worked at the Brodhead elementary school. She works at the funeral home working visitations and funeral services. Both Bev and Clyde are semi retired, as Clyde also works at the funeral home assisting on funerals and transporting families members for the funeral home.

Becky Kauk Lifetime Funeral Apprentice/Cremation Operations & Head Administrator
Steve and his wife, Becky are lifelong residents of Albany.
Becky Kauk also joined our funeral home staff in 2022 as our head administrator. She assists with daily operations in our Brodhead office to assist with families and services. Becky was formerly a office administrator for Landmark COOP in Albany for over 15 years. -
Tera Kennedy Administration
Tera Kennedy works as one of our administrative staff assisting our families. Born, raised and graduated from Albany, she formerly worked for over 29 years for Midwest Dental. She is a long time friend to the owners since high school and were to happy that she would come aboard to our firm to work, as she is a trust employee.

Billy Patchen Crematory Operator
Big Bad Billy is a long time friend of Jarod and Tania Williams, the owners. Jarod and Billy in high school worked construction together in Albany for two summers. Billy was trained and is now our full time crematory operator for Rosman and DL Newcomer Funeral Homes. Billy and Deb Neild live together in Brodhead and also run Deb's Bar and Grill in Brodhead. Billy enjoys hunting coyote and deer (bow and gun) and spending time with Deb's grandchildren.

Cathy Cole Chapel Attendant
Cathy lives in rural Albany, with my husband Tim Cole. I have two grown children and 4 grandchildren. I love the outdoors and nature and spend a lot of time gardening. I also enjoy doing crafts and going for long walks. Cathy assists our families as a hairdresser and also works funerals and visitations at our Beloit and Brodhead locations.
